# **Overview**
Lithic will now automatically handle all status transitions from `OPEN` to `SUSPENDED`, for `financial_accounts` formerly in `SUSPENDED`.`INTEREST_AND_FEES_PAUSED`.

# Details
Previously, once a `financial_account` had been moved to `SUSPENDED`.`INTEREST_AND_FEES_PAUSED`, Lithic would no longer automatically change the `status` or `substatus` of that specific `financial_account`. This included even after it had been moved to `OPEN`.

Now, once a customer moves a `financial_account` from `SUSPENDED`.`INTEREST_AND_FEES_PAUSED` to `OPEN`, Lithic will resume automatic changes to the `status` or `substatus`.

## **Release Timeline**
Available now: June 8, 2026.

## User Impact
Action is required only if you are currently using the `SUSPENDED`.`INTEREST_AND_FEES_PAUSED` status.substatus.
