# Overview
Financial accounts can now transition from `SUSPENDED` with substatus `INTEREST_AND_FEES_PAUSED` directly to `SUSPENDED` with substatus `DELINQUENT` via the [Update Financial Account Status](https://docs.lithic.com/reference/updatefinancialaccountstatus) endpoint.

# Details
Valid State transitions from `SUSPENDED.INTEREST_AND_FEES_PAUSED` are now:

- `OPEN`
- `SUSPENDED.CHARGED_OFF_DELINQUENT`
- `SUSPENDED.CHARGED_OFF_FRAUD`
- `SUSPENDED.DELINQUENT` (enabled today)
- `SUSPENDED.BANK_REQUEST`
- `SUSPENDED.END_USER_REQUEST`
- `CLOSED.CHARGED_OFF_DELINQUENT`
- `CLOSED.CHARGED_OFF_FRAUD`
- `CLOSED.BANK_REQUEST`
- `CLOSED.END_USER_REQUEST`

Please note that once a `financial_account` has been moved to `SUSPENDED`.`INTEREST_AND_FEES_PAUSED`, Lithic will no longer automatically change the `status` or `substatus` of that specific `financial_account`. This includes even after it has been moved to a new status or substatus.

- This means that financial accounts that are moved from `SUSPENDED`.`INTEREST_AND_FEES_PAUSED` -> `SUSPENDED`.`DELINQUENT` will not automatically be moved to `OPEN`, even if the financial account receives sufficient repayment.
- Customers should manually move the account to `OPEN` in these cases.
